My first Mac was an eMac, which was the size of a small television, and weighed as much as a twelve-year-old child. I hadn’t used a Mac since Elementary school where we played with LOGO and Oregon Trail.
I named my eMac GOB, and he lasted six good years, which is like, a million in computer years. I finally had to buy a laptop after college because it no longer supported any kind of software updates, and probably because my Dad was tired of helping me move it from apartment to apartment.
So, thank you, Steve Jobs, for making a computer that’s so easy to use, my Mom thinks I’m a hacker. Even my Grandma uses a Mac! I have a hip Grandma. That kind of thing runs in the family.
Nerds of the world will miss you, Steve Jobs!
